Have you guys ever seen such a beautiful bike? LUST AT FIRST SIGHT.
She's mounted. Pedaled up. Ready for her maiden voyage.
Last night, I took her on that maiden voyage. It felt so good to be back on a bike again after almost a week off. By the way, my injuries have been healing nicely and are looking much better.
Here's my link to the ride I did last night:

The first time I did this ride (back in April) it took me an hour and 17 minutes. I did it in just less than 55 minutes last night. Not too shabby for this CrazeeCyclist.
And the Ridley? She's so beautiful. She's sleek and new and fits me perfectly. And I must admit, I got a little giddy when Ridley tweeted at me this morning asking how my maiden ride went. That's BIG TIME y'all!
My legs were a little weary after this ride. Probably just because it had been awhile. But it felt good to put my shorts on again and just get out there. My apologies for any of you who ever HAVE to look at me in cycling gear. It's not a pretty sight. (Although, I must admit that I'm sad about my Pearl Izumi riding shorts…they got a rip in them from the crash at the Tour de Cure). No worries though; I have some Castelli race bibs on their way to me now. It's all good!
What else is good? Nibali tore it UP yesterday at the Giro. It's looking like he might pull this victory out! And, my new issue of Bicycling came in the mail yesterday which always makes my heart skip a beat!
Also, I've been reading Half Man, Half Bike - the story of Eddie Merckx - for the past few days. Enjoying it very much.
I'm going to shoot for 15-18 miles Friday on my bike. It's a holiday weekend and I just need to ride.
Happy cycling!
